Everyone Deserves Harmony
We offer after school care that includes life skills and enrichment such as gardening, cooking, music, art, socialization, meditation and more.
We are a care facility which works to provide youth and young adults with developmental disabilities with assistance in achieving their highest level of independence and self-sufficiency.
Our program is designed to have a 1 teacher to 4 student ratios in order to provide students support and flexibility to be successful in the program.
We offer care from 3:30 - 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
The Harmony Center program has been created to provide help with life skills such as cooking, gardening, computer skills, and social skills. We also offer instruction in self-care, mindfulness meditation and spiritual practices. Enrichment will be fostered through music and art. The purpose of the Harmony Center is to provide advocacy and capability building based on belief in the human spirit and community.
To keep costs low, we work with
the Regional Center of the East Bay
as a vendor for daycare.
The goal of the Harmony Center is to serve as an enriching environment for students to make friends and work on important life skills. We work to offer students ways to learn and develop their independent living skills, social skills, and self-care practices. We do all of this with a specific focus on art and music enrichment, as well as, meditation, mindfulness, and gardening in order teach the importance of being independent, as well as, caring for their mental and emotional well-being.
